There are 2 different ways of posting images - one is a bit more complex than the other, but allows for more flexability in where you're going to use that image.
You will want to make sure image formats are easily visable on a website - so JPEG, GIF, PNG are generally accepted formats. If you have an old-school screenshot that's a TGA, you will want to have that converted first.
The Easy Way
When you're posting a forum topic, almost directly under the text editor there is a drop-down section called "Attached Images". Click this, and you should see something like:
Select the file you want, add a title, and hit "Submit".
That, famous last words, should be it.
The Hard Way
Not that its really THAT much harder, but there's a few more steps involved. The advantage is that you have a bit more flexability as to placement of the image in the post.
First, take a screenshot of what you want.
Click the Image icon on the editor:
The Insert Image window opens. Click Browse Server to view the images in your account:
Click the Browse button, and locate the file you want to upload. Click Upload File to load the file to server.
Once the upload is complete, the file will be highligted in the file list. Click the "Add" link on the appropriate image.
This will close the server browser window, and put in the URL in the Image properties window. Click OK on the image properties window, and your image will be inserted.
