Long story short... I am in Iraq. I pay 75 USD / month for my internet and durring 1600-2400 local (GMT +3) i have around 2000ms latency. Capped at 3GB/week total bandwidth. Getting paid insane ammounts of money, and am in the top 5% tax bracket now (hello Obama's new tax plan.. ouch!).

So there I was today, hanging out in the office just getting a few tasks completed, when along comes a fellow WoW player. He asks me if I have the 1.2 gig patch that just came out for WoW. I say... WTF 1.2 gigs? Its been 4 months since I've even played live wow. What is up? He tells me to go check and see how long it would take to download it on my network. Luckily my ISP (Jackal) had the patch on their front page and I got to download it without the bandwidth counting against my 3GB/Week cap. Took 4 hours to download off their site, but im not complaining.

I took a look at the Jutsu site and looks like yall took a break too! Good to see that we took a break, cuz alot of the guilds are going to be so burned out by the time the expansion hits, and a few of us should be around still with enough stamina to actually make this work. To those of you who stayed the whole time, Kudos! I couldn't have done it! (No literrally I asked my wife, and she said No!) But now that I just got re-hired and a huge raise, im ready to get back into the swing of things and waste some tax payers dollars playing WoW when I should be working! Don't worry, I do my job, it's just that there is so much downtime that I only need to be physically present in the office when they absolutely need me.

Anyhoo... I saw the front page, and I saw my friends list dwindle from 27 to 6 people (char transfers) so it looks like a huge recruiting phase is about to start... in that case...
